Take that shoebox out of the garbage!!!

Well,, hello again.Hope that your new year is working out fine for you. I'm so excited to show you guys the new things that I'm doing so far this year. Lets get started. I made this beautiful storage container/craft carrier from an old shoebox that I found in the garbage.

The last two pictures of the boxes should be the first two pictures. They are pictures of how the box looked when I got it out of the garbage. Sorry about that.

Directions. first I, taped the corners and any open areas on the box( this box had an open area that displayed the contents of the box, plush mens' slippers). Then I took an old map of the City of Chicago transit system and used mod podge to glue it to the box on all sides, after that dried, I used bookmaking tape ( used for making books) to all of the corners of the box. Then, I added handles to the top of the box with ribbon and flat beads. I later added 1/8 inch dowels to the box to make two areas for hanging jewelry in the box. This was so easy t make. I found this idea on Pinterest.
